The City of Leavenworth requires all restaurants and food establishments to have a current health permit. Here's how you get one. Fill out the application and return it to the City Clerk's Office. When you turn in the form, you must also pay a $100.00 fee. The City accepts checks, cash, money orders, and credit cards. Staff will schedule an inspection for your establishment. Once you pass inspection, a health permit will be issued to your establishment.

Food Handler Permit

The City of Leavenworth requires employees who handle food attend a food handler class. You may sign up for class at the City Clerk's Office along with a $10.00 fee. You may pay with check, money order, cash, and credit cards. Classes are held at the Fire Station No. 1 located on 20th Street Trafficway on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m.
