Haymarket Square Information
Haymarket Square is located at 649 Cherokee and is an open air pavilion 60' x 186' with 28 parking stalls. The pavilion is available for community, corporate, and private group rental when not occupied by the Farmer's Market (May 1-October 31 each Saturday morning 6 am-11 am & each Wednesday 3 pm-7 pm) and the Flea Market (May-November the first Saturday of each month 6 am-2 pm).
January 2-31 of each calendar year local residents and businesses are able to submit reservations with full payment on a first come first serve basis. Beginning February 1 reservations will be open to all other requests. A non-local resident or business can only reserve six (6) months in advance.
Fees:
Local Resident/Business: $25 per session
Non-local Resident/Business: $50 per session
A $10 electrical fee will be charged for electricity (lights, fans, etc.). A $20 electrical fee will be charged if needing electricity for sound systems, DJs, cookers, etc. The City of Leavenworth requests that you purchase trash bags for your event. 36-gallon trash bags are available for $.50 each.
Deposit:
A $50 damage deposit is required for events. A $150 damage deposit is required if serving liquor, wine or beer. Deposit may be refunded after the reservation or event. Failure to clean-up area, damages or any violations of the policies will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
