Leavenworth City Commission
As the City's Governing Body, the City Commission is responsible for establishing policies and allocating resources through the adoption of the annual operating budget, five-year capital improvement program, ordinances and resolutions. As part of the policy-making process, the City Commission relies upon input from boards and commissions. The City Commission is responsible for making appointments to boards and commissions and also appoints the City Manager.
