City Looks Forward to Opening New Pedestrian Bridge of Five-Mile Creek!   Leavenworth Parks and Recreation's latest initiative is a bridge that will be known as the Five-Mile Creek Pedestrian Bridge. This bridge (installed on Friday) will connect 14th Street and New Lawrence Road to Tudor, Candlewood and ultimately Lawrence Road.  The bridge will give children safe access to Warren Middle School!   The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 8:30 a.m. in conjuction with the Five-Mile Creek Walk and National Trails Day!     Follow us on:
