City offices closed Feb. 15, trash service not affected
In observance of President's Day, City of Leavenworth offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 15. However, trash service will continue on its regular schedule. Therefore, those who have Monday collection should still place their trash out for pick up. For more information about solid waste collection services, including information on recycling and hazardous waste disposal, click here.
The 2010 Census is just around the corner, with forms being mailed to residents in the third week of March. Before the form shows up in your mailbox, you can preview it here (this form is for informational purposes only, and should not be filled out). Completing the official 10-question form in its entirety is crucial, as the Census is the official population figure for the next 10 years. More.
