All dogs residing in the City of Leavenworth that are three (3) months old or older and all pot bellied pigs require a city license. Licenses expire March 31 of each year. Licenses not renewed by March 31 will be assessed a late fee. If you have a new dog or are new to the City you have 30 days to register your dog before a late fee is assessed.

The City of Leavenworth does not restrict dog ownership based on breed
