Citizens cleaning up Three-Mile Creek in 2021

"Stormwater" is any water that falls to the ground from precipitation. The stormwater system is designed to collect stormwater and carry it to natural drainage basins, such as Three-Mile Creek, Five-Mile Creek and the Missouri River. The stormwater system is separate from the sewer system.

Public Works staff encourages residents to learn more about stormwater and ways citizens can help improve the quantity and quality of our stormwater.

This page educates the public about stormwater and provides links to our required documentation regarding stormwater drainage.
